About Lucia Giannetta

Lucia’s powerful voice, commanding stage presence and quick wit has led her to over 20 years of experience in TV, Film, Off and on Broadway.

She has been seen at Carnegie Hall, Radio City and Lincoln Center sharing the stage with such notables as Patti LaBelle, Elton John, Patti LuPone and Liza Minnelli.  

 

Her most recent Film and TV credits include Scorsese’s Oscar nominated film,THE IRISHMAN and Hallmark’s adored HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR. 

 

Working closely with writer Chazz Palminteri, director Robert DeNiro and composer Alan Menken Lucia brought to stage the matriarchal character of Rosina Anello in Broadway’s A BRONX TALE THE MUSICAL 

 

Lucia has developed and originated roles in Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID, THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, HERCULES and in the Tony nominated musical LEAP OF FAITH.  In addition Lucia also had the joy of portraying Madame Thenardier in LES MISERABLES both nationally and on  Broadway.

 

Lucia is an accomplished Pop/Rock artist and has enjoyed performing at The Beacon Theater, The Barclay Center, The David Letterman Show and as guest artist on America’s Got Talent.

 

Lucia holds a BFA from Boston University’s esteemed College of Fine Arts and is a 20 year veteran of The Tony Award and Grammy Award winning Broadway Inspirational Voices. 

To date her most cherished role is that of being Isabella Grace's mom.
